We offer traditional sodium silicate binders, no bake binders and reclaimable inorganic binder technology. Geopol – Inorganic No Bake Binder System
An ecological geopolymer based inorganic binder system designed to reduce the fume and odour levels during the production of cores and castings. A no bake binder suitable for virtually all metal and alloy types with up to 90% sand reclamation.
Geopol W – Inorganic Core Binder
An ecological geopolymer based inorganic core binder cured with warm air for the use in aluminium casting, reducing emissions whilst maintaining the integrity of the finished casting.
Alphaset – Alkaline Phecolic No-Bake Binder
The original alkaline phenolic organic system binder developed by Borden Chemicals. Alphaset is a two part system, TPA resins utilise Alphacure hardeners to give a wide range of working and strip times for any size production facility.
Sodium Silicate Sand Binders
As the only remaining UK foundry supplier to produce a range of proprietary sodium silicate sand binders John Winters offers a selection of binder systems for CO₂ gas or organic ester curing. A low gas producing binder especially suited to gas sensitive alloys e.g. Gunmetal.
Bakelite PUR 6133/8233 No-Bake Binder
Recommended for aluminium applications requiring maximum cold strength with the necessary breakdown characteristics and casting surface finish.

A low odour aliphatic polyol no-bake system for aluminium applications for mould and core production, utilising a polyol based urethane (Part 1), polymeric MDI type isocyanate (Part 2) and one of a range of catalysts (Part 3).
A cold setting sand binder for the manufacturer of cores. Corovit Oil has the same general field of applications as cold set resins except that in most applications the cores are oven dried.
