As Coronavirus is now in the UK, we want to re-assure our customers, partners and suppliers that the health and wellbeing of them and our staff members is of the utmost importance. We are also working hard to ensure that wherever possible, we continue to supply our products and services without putting anyone at risk.
We have implemented strict hand washing policies at our offices and ask all our staff members to continue this outside the workplace.
We have cancelled all international travel until further notice for our employees, and ask all our staff, customers and suppliers to consider whether any visits either to our premises or to yours are necessary at this time.
We have communicated the advice on self-isolation to all our employees and will encourage this wherever it is necessary.
Deliveries to our customers
Our usual business practice is to carry stock at a level that allows for short-term disruption to our supply chain, and we upped our standard stock levels in the run up to Brexit. However, we are starting to see some delays in delivery due to restrictions in other countries such as Italy and China. In addition, we are seeing price rises in alcohol -based products (used in the production of hand sanitiser) due to limited supplies. We would like to re-assure our customers that we are dedicated to ensuring a fair supply to all our customers and will never attempt to profit from a shortage under these circumstances.
Like all businesses, we have to consider the worst-case scenario, and we have a variety of contingency plans in place should they be required. We are committed to keeping all our customers updated and will communicate any changes in a timely manner.
