Ferrous Flux (For Iron) 5392/FGN
150 Gram Packett - Usage 150 Grams approx 150kgs of Metal
Produces a fluid slag to cleanse & remove impurities from cast iron & increases fluidity of the melt.
Begin adding the flux at an early stage in the melt. On completion, the flux should dry itself off and easily removable slag is formed.
Ferro Silicon Ladle Alloy
200 Gram Packets - Usage 200 grams adds approx 0.18% si to 100kgs Metal
Aluminium & Alloys Covering Flux (EXF 326)
250 Gram Tubs - Usage 250 Grrams approx 50kgs Metal
Designed as covering & cleansing flux for aluminium alloy, except those containing over 5% magnesium.
To be sprinkled on top of metal as soon as it becomes molten. After degassing & grain refining a small quantity of flux should be added & well rabbled into the immediate surface of the melt until a red glowing dross is obtained. The dross should be skimmed off before pouring.

Coverflux for Copper Alloys (Cuprex 1)
250 Gram packet Usage 250 Grams Approx 25kgs Metal
Containing less than about 5% of zinc, including bronze & gun metal. Designed for cleansing & refining copper & nickel base alloys. Place required amount at beginning of melt. Leave the slag that forms as intact as possible until the crucible is withdrawn from the furnace.

De-Oxidising Tubes for Copper Alloy’s
No 3 tube - Usage one tube approx 50kgs metal can be split if required
De-oxides & increases the fluidity of the metal. Warm the required amount in tube, then after skimming the melt, plunge to the bottom.
Coverflux B503 - For Copper / Zinc Alloys
250 Gram Tub usage 250 Grams approx 25kgs Metal
For use with brass, brazing metals. Place flux in the bottom of the hot crucible & charge the metal on top of flux, Leave the slag intact until the crucible is withdrawn from the furnace.
