John Winter has appointed Michael McMahon as the company’s UK foundry sales manager, strengthening its position in the domestic foundry market.
Michael McMahon has been John Winter’s regional sales manager for the South East for two years and in this new role he will also be responsible for overseeing sales activity across the UK.
Michael has worked in the industry for 25 years and his promotion comes as the company expands its offering to the UK foundry market with a range of new products.
He said: “It’s an exciting time at John Winter and this new role will give me the chance to be at the forefront of it.
“As the UK’s foundry sales manager I’ll be looking to increase the focus on this area. The company is growing and has lot to offer the domestic foundry market, so it’s vital we get this message across to new and existing customers.”
Adam Bennett, sales director at John Winter, said: “Michael’s commercial experience within the foundry industry, coupled with the technical support and advice offered by the whole team, will add value to the service we offer our customers.
“Our business in the UK continues to grow, so naturally we want to build on our level of resource in this area, and Michael will play a key role in this.”
