In a newly-created senior role, Andrew Tagg will be responsible for leading the R&D team, helping it enter new foundry markets with innovative product ranges.
Andrew worked with John Winter for 11 years as a Global Technical Consultant, before taking a permanent position at the business as Global Sales Representative in a bid to accelerate its growth.
He will continue to cover global sales, overseeing the USA, India and Middle East markets, as well as areas of Europe, in addition to his research and development role.
He said of his appointment: “By creating this new role at John Winter it is opening a lot of doors into new markets and industries, as we place more of an emphasis on technical advice and applying innovation to what we do. I’m delighted to be helping the company make this substantial move.
“We already have some exciting developments planned, including the introduction of a range of new products later this year.”
