John Winter & Co Ltd has been supplying foundry consumables for over 50 years, with the original business based on the sand binder at that time of core oils. Since then, changes in foundry manufacturing techniques has brought about changes to the products now required in modern foundry processes, giving rise to a very large range of foundry consumables. Sand binders still are the basis for the business, whether resins or sodium silicates, and even the original oil sand products as used 50 years ago.

In recent times, the development of new products, such as core and greensand additives, have allowed the business to expand into some of the largest global foundry sectors.
