JW SUPERYELLOW

A class 3 plaster which is a rich yellow in colouration. It is particularly smooth and has sufficient working time to suit the requirements of the modern laboratory. Hard enough to be used for opposing crown and bridge models it is also ideal for partial denture models, chrome cobalt models or orthodontic models. Like superwhite it mixes well with other plasters and is available in 25kg bags. Mixing ratio of 100:35

Superblue is the sister plaster of Superyellow, it’s technical specification and physical properties are identical but it is pale blue in colour. Ideal for Chrome Cobalt and Opposing Models or Basing C&B Models. Available in 25kg bags.

SQUIRREL MIXERS

A superb idea from the USA.
These little plastic mixers are a cheap and reliable way to mix plaster and any other viscous fluids including silicones, paint, latex, artex, adhesives etc. etc. Simply attach to a drill or similar device and a smooth and thorough mix will be accomplished in seconds - no lumps and no bubbles. The head is made from a very durable plastic and the shaft from galvanised steel making them both container friendly and easy to clean. The squirrel mixer is available in various sizes but we have found the ‘one gallon, polypro’ to be ideal for dental labs as the head splits to fit smaller plaster bowls.
